Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator
- Originate mortgage loans by taking loan applications from potential borrowers
- Gather necessary documentation and information from borrowers to complete loan applications
- Analyze financial information and credit reports to determine borrower's eligibility for a mortgage loan
- Assist borrowers in selecting the appropriate mortgage loan program and terms
- Guide borrowers through the entire loan process, from application to closing
- Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other parties involved in the loan process to ensure timely and accurate completion of loans
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in mortgage lending practices
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines and requirements
- Familiarity with escrow processes and procedures
- Proficient in loan processing software and 10-key typing
- Understanding of basic math principles for calculating interest rates, payments, and other financial calculations
- Experience using Quicken or similar financial software
- Proven track record of successful financial sales and meeting sales targets
